Vintage Festival Wedding In Lake Montriond The French Alps
After many wonderful skiing holidays together in the Portes du Soleil, Nick and Vee chose Morzine as the destination for their wedding.
With the ambition to host a festival themed wedding they explored Morzine in summertime, and after a refreshing swim in crystal clear Lac Montriond, decided the spot was perfect for the ceremony.
In the same village, at La Ferme du Lac Vert, they found more rustic charm than they could have dreamed of their vintage wedding party.
The wedding had buckets of vintage stye, with a classic VW and Beetle to boot. Guest’s adopted the theme with beautiful vintage attire and Vee wore an original Victorian wedding dress found in Notting Hill, London.
A pretty floral wedding arch complemented the backdrop of lake and mountains to create a beautiful and natural scene for the ceremony. I took advantage of the setting to take a huge group photo of the wedding party, as well as some individual portraits of the cheerful couple.
When the sun went down, the lighting in La Ferme du Lac’s garden created a warm ambience, and everyone was glowing with joy as they danced the night away during the wedding party. A really fun wedding to shoot; it wasn’t difficult to capture the jovial mood at this lively wedding.
